Welcome Teachers!

Let me introduce myself. I'm Gail Nemetz, Children's Librarian here at Osterville Library. I hold the M.A. degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Denver and have 27 years experience working in libraries and with children. Most recently I spent 10 years at Hyannis West Elementary School in a library with a K-4 population. I have two boys, one of whom is a senior at BHS and another who has already graduated. I am familiar with the Massachusetts Frameworks and would be happy to provide you with materials to supplement the curriculum in your classroom. If you have a unit coming up on a particular subject (i.e. folktales, weather, explorers), if you are studying a particular author, or if you just want to have something new in your classroom library on a regular basis, let me know. With a week's notice I can gather the materials, check them out on your CLAMS teacher card, and you may pick everything up at the library. We're open 7 days a week for your convenience! I have access to a wealth of databases as well, so if you or your students have a reference question feel free to call or stop by.
If you have any questions or would like more information please call me at 508-428-5757 or email gnemetz@clamsnet.org. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
